Image description
It struck again. The virus of human violence that slithers through the bloodstream of history with its grisly finger poised to pull another trigger so the world can collapse anew. It happened in Sarajevo 100 years ago and scores of millions of lives were removed; expunged; gone missing - then a period of exhaustion before the virus re-emerged and another planetary orgasm of killing, larger and further reaching, then more exhaustion, muttered threats from a graveyard, development of steroidal weapon systems - the bite hadn’t been deep enough, the poison too diluted – next time for sure. But the violence continued. Instead of living it those who are fortunate actually watching on media as if it were a special lurid form of entertainment, a mass transfusion of horror that always seems to happen to other people - like the passengers of the Malaysian jetliner cruising insensibly across a remote battle zone and being blown from the sky like a clay pigeon. Bullseye, good shot Ivan or Osama, or Tim from Oklahoma City, or Hui Cho at Virgina Tech - the names are interchangeable…. My parents were decent people who informed my young brain that it might be a good idea to implement socio-economic systems where people could live in productive harmony – even promoting the golden rule as an example of how this might work – I’m glad they can’t see what happened to that jejune notion - an earth hip deep with lying (‘relative truth’) and greed ('creative acquisitioning') and massed global technological energies feeding money into power to continue more of the same – the invention of modern ‘selective’ weaponry changing nothing except the foreclosure of an ability to see the enemy – now one is killed instantaneously at great distance by invisible force – like the people in an airplane traveling to their homes or onward to a vacation. Its not enough to ask when does it stop, but WHO does one ask when does it stop? I write this fearing my wife’s return home over the polar route. Detail lost in digital transmission. Finished size

Nadezhda Romanova Your fear about your wife is visible there on this image. This fear raises many historical waves of images that are related to the modern world situation. Order could be easily get out of control and then it will be the world of chaos and ... what else? I think that now is a time when Every Human Soul has to stand up and do something to save Peace and Life. Thank you Jared Christopher for your intention to wake up our awareness.
