Image description
Buildings are the key elements of human settlements and, special cases aside, need stairs to unfold their potential; the form and distribution of stairs is like the DNA of a building, here a late 19th Century commercial building in Hamburg. I therfore transformed a standard bottom up staircase view into a double helix, doing a double exposure at different levels of height (one above head and one from the floor) and slightly turned.
Samsung S24
Double exposure, identical vertical view axis at different height above the floor, composed in Snapssed, final edit in Lightroom
