Endless Silence IV

Shot on the famous and often photographed beach of Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. A true photographers paradise if you ask me. I could spend ages here and come up with new images continuously. Here the sun just got up and had a strange but welcome effect on the wet sand. An exposure time of 0,5 second was enough to retain some detail in the surf line so that it could serve as a leading line into the frame.

Sometimes compositions work best if they are plain simple. All you need is a few lines or structures and the rest of the image is built by the ambient colors available.

Canon EOS 6D with Canon EF24-105 F/4L IS USM lens, ND grad filter, tripod, cable release.
