Image description

Famous landmark on Vagar island in the Faroe Islands. This needle is a true photogenic and therefore often photographed subject. I was lucky with some mist creeping in that adds to the moody atmosphere.

A recent trip brought me to the Faroe Islands. A first visit for me but I'm quite sure I will return many times as this archipelago is a true photographers paradise.

Hasselblad 500C with Distagon 50mm on Ilford Delta 100 film, ND grad filter, ND 10 stops filter, tripod, cable release. Digitized with my DSLR, post-processing in Lightroom, Photoshop and Silver Efex.
