The series "Intangible Realities" started as an investigation on inner realities by questioning the notion of the body-and-mind duality. It refers to the conditions of confusion, anxiety, and euphoria and endeavors to express non-objective emotions and sensations. Inspired by hypnagogia— the place between sleep and awake— "Intangible Realities" is a glimpse inside the worlds of hallucination from a personal experience of states of hypnagogia. It is like being transported to an alternative reality, a reality that exists only inside the mind. The intention is to carry the spectator into an imaginary world, into an alternative three-dimensional space. Does it mesmerize the observer and trigger oneiric sensations? Could it generate a mild loss of body consciousness? And, as a consequence, could the body feel weightless and the mind is carried into a state of bliss?
