Image description
When I first took a film photography class in college, I remember falling in love with the grain and how it could romanticize the human body in the right light. Having grown up in a conservative Chrisitian household, I felt this need to photograph the body a bit, and with also being gay I really found myself shielded from the idea of sexuality and the body itself for so long. I wasn't explained a gay relationship nor did I have interest in understanding a straight one. The human body felt foreign to me, and photography become the way for me to explore and understand it.
