This is a rare bird, and created quite a stir when she appeared at the Sweetwater Wetlands in southern Arizona. She was around for several weeks, and not very afraid of us. I haven't seen her for several weeks, unfortunately. A leucistic bird is almost an albino, but not quite. This bird has a slight amount of yellow just in front of her tail, under her body. Her mate is a normal Vermilion Flycatcher, brilliant red in color. I also was able to get his picture. Pyrocephalus rubinus.
