At the artificial island Neeltje Jans, named after a stranded boat on a sandbar who wore that name, there is still a remaining pillar. This 66th pillar was made around 1980 along with the other pillars, in case one of the other pillars would not turn out to be good, but never put into use. Since then, the lonely pillar in its dock. Currently a climbing center is located on the pier.
Neeltje Jans is an old folk name for the patron goddess Nehalennia.
