Photography resulting from my independent research with the aim of democratizing large format photography using tools and processes created from recycled, reused or non-photographic materials that can be produced at home, in a handmade way.
In Brazil photographic equipment and supplies are very expensive and access to chemicals is restricted, making this process unviable for a significant portion of the population.
By professionally using only the tools developed in this research, I want to prove their quality and consistency, as well as find their limitations and compare them to commercial equivalents.

345mm magnifying glass on ⌀75mm PVC pipe lens, 12-bladed iris diaphragm and 6-bladed manual leaf shutter. Large format bellows camera, optics, accessories and gear, all made at home with simple tools, mostly from reused material. Studio light from V-Lite (former Mako Studio Lighting).

Fuji Super H-RU 5x7' x-ray film @ISO 400 reversal processed with brewed caffenol-C-H and peracetic acid.
