When we got to the inn at which we usually stay on Lake Superior, the owner was still picking flowers to place in a vase on the kitchen table in our suite. This is a single fresh cut flower from her bouquet of peonies. Sometimes Time-Zero is too beautiful for its own border. I had to crop this one to a square to give you a closer view of the film. Just look at the quality of the film's color! It is hard for me to believe that that occasion was the last time I would ever photograph a peony with Time-Zero. I can't believe Polaroid has taken this extraordinary palette away from the world of art. Time-Zero has become such a large part of what I do that I can't even put words to how bereft I will feel when my supply is gone.
