M W As befits a pessimist (and you already know this fact), I can only interpret this scene as modern self-isolation of human being from the surrounding world. The contemporary ubiquitous blindness not only towards others, but also towards nature. As in this case towards even one of the most beautiful phenomenon of nature which is the rising sun.

This is an amazing image. I feel that it represents a multi-dimensional space, like reflections in a room of mirrors. The interpenetration of energy forms producing non-local effects, connecting the thoughts of separate people.
