Le chemin qui s'en va

This whole series originated in an old dream in which I saw a man and a child lying on the ground, both close to me, and at the same time I could see the curve of the planet as if I was in orbit at 200 km of altitude. After noting this dream, I wondered for a long time how it was possible to have these two visions at the same time, one close and the other far away. Until I discovered the filter "polar coordinates" in Photoshop. Usually used to make "tiny planets" images from 360-degree panoramas, I used it on normal photos by cutting the result to half, giving an image as if it had been taken from a few meters above ground looking towards the horizon. I added the characters and starry skies.
