A kiss can mean quite a few things, if you think about it. Is it a kiss of love, lust, forgiving or letting go?

Once I brought this painting to a school for the blind in Kyiv to "show" it to blind kids and let them interact with it. Some were not impressed and it seemed they just didn't want to be there first of all, others spent a bit more time with it trying to feel what they were told by their teachers, when they verbally described it. But one boy definitely got something out of that experience and I felt that his fingers were deciphering the texture in their own way as he spent the most time "seeing" a dimension of this work that we, the visually unimpaired, cannot even imagine.

A sort of a splash painting technique, where the brush doesn't touch the canvas. This creates an intricately spun web of fine paint lines and droplets that results in an impressive texture that looks fuzzy and is very tactile.
