Dana Winkelman MW. It took me a while to put my head around this shot but it was worth the thought. I know where you are going metaphorically and attachment is the root of many things, Ecstasy to suffering... However, the geeky scientist in me sees it another way as well. Trees are attached to the world in almost unimaginable ways (check out the links below) and our callousness to these creatures is where sorrow and suffering might truly lie.
