When and how do you start to create?
I started to create photographic images in my adolescence. It was a necessary need, I felt growing inside me.
Do you went to an art school or self-taught?
I'm completely self-taught.
Do you create as a professional or for your own?
I create pictures generally for myself, but also for those who ask me.
How do you learn and work your skill?
Every day I look the nature, my personal muse. Every day I look the art of the artists who are an inspiration to me, and I try to understand the emotions behind their art.
What do you like in this art, your motivation?
For me photography is the through to my emotions, my fellings and the world, in particular the nature, who my eyes see around to me
What do you want to express or arouse in those who watch your work?
I try to show the universe into me. I try to show, with my eyes, the beauty who I see in all things.
What are your favourite subject(s)?
Nature, and woman's body. I like so much hands, skin, and veins (who are for me the roots of body).
How do you prepare a creation or project work?
When I'm ispired or when ispiration comes (and She comes unexpectedly, in every moment and every place!), I sketch the idea for not forget no particular, I keep thinking.. and clik! Or else, when I'm the subject of the idea, I imagine it in my mind, I start my preferite songs, take my camera, posing and click!
What are your prefered moment(s) when you create?
When I'm completely alone, happy or sad. Of course in company of my subject.
What are your most representative creations, and why? (links)
http://www.artlimited.net/image/en/546219 I don't know why, really. But I think because this represents me into a important moment in my life, a moment of passage between my past to my present. I'm passed to see all black only for to discover then the color, the life.
What are you trying to share via your art?
The Universe who is hidden inside me. The Moon who I see every night. My soul and my fellings.
Who are artists that fascinate or give you inspiration? (links)
A lot are the artists who fascinate me: Francesca Woodman, Sarah Moon, Laura Makabresku and more.
What equipment and/or technic do you use?
I use a digital SLR, for now, with some lenses.
How and why your work as changed since you started?
My first works were very different, I worked only in black and white using the technique of long exposure. Then I expanded my eyes and I discovered the color and I started to capture times narrower, almost zero, trying to capture the moment. The essential in everything. The details.
What does the Internet media give you?
These are a chance to see art of many artists and find new artist.
What are you expecting from Art Limited and/or other members?
I expect to see what is the reaction that people are looking at my photos, see if my Universe is visible to them.
What was the best advice given to you as an artist?
“Your photos are unique emotions, dreamlike. You know see the world through your eyes pure. Always be yourself in every photograph.” :)
If you couldn’t be an artist, what would you do?
It is a difficult question. I think I would have tried anyway a way to tell my Universe.
What are your plans in the future?
Experience. Know. But my dream is to have a way of being able to take pictures in analog.
Do you have anything else to say?
“Things looked funny because my pictures depend on an emotional state... I know this is true and I thought about this for a long time. Somehow it made me feel very, very good.” Francesca Woodman
