Roberto De Mitri Dana... :) ... surely it is useless to remember here the high symbolic value of the mirror and how many things it represents and how important the mirror is in our collective imagination. the image has a vaguely surreal, almost dreamlike taste. the mirror creates a point of contact between the two female figures. Lysann embraces the reflected image of E. in this way Lysann seems to be part of the dream dimension. a kind of short circuit is created. the inside is outside, the reason embraces the dream. desire and matter meet.
I don't know if there is some story behind this image, if and what story there is. it seems to me a kind of Escher short circuit, in the way the mirror seems to create alternate realities... :)

Roberto De Mitri Cédric ... :) ... an overlapping of memories, of ghosts as shadows and obsessions of the past. if a mirror is a medium that reflects the deepest unconscious, fears and desires, then this room can be an indefinite and indefinable point lost in the recesses of our soul... :)

Dana Winkelman Roberto. That is interesting! Lysann holds the mirror but also the image in the mirror (instead of the woman). It feels surreal to me, a bit like Escher or Magritte... I also like how Lysann's gaze is turned away, a bit demure, subservient maybe? Finally, E's reaching for the mirror or herself seems an important part of the story but I am not sure exactly how?
