When and how do you start to create?
I started to draw as a kid. Used to draw fantasy characters with a combination of fantasy and organic industrial style. Does that make sense? When I was 18 started my first job and with my first paycheck I bought a camera, it was a Ricoh Caplio something. Since then I educated myself into the art of photography.
Do you went to an art school or self-taught?
I whent to an art college and studied preservation of paintings. I also have a master degree in photography. Although, I consider to be more self-taught.
Do you create as a professional or for your own?
I work as a product photographer and occasionally do weddings. My artistic creations are for myself.
How do you learn and work your skill?
Reading, experimenting, failing.
What do you like in this art, your motivation?
The discovery in it. My motivation is not important. I always had an urge to create. It's just who I am.
What do you want to express or arouse in those who watch your work?
I want to stir up their imagination.
What are your favourite subject(s)?
Most of my work is based on shapes and the relationship between light and shadow.
How do you prepare a creation or project work?
Mostly is a spontaneous burst. An idea pops in my head and I immediately try to find solutions on how to materialize it.
What are your prefered moment(s) when you create?
I love when I get in the zone and the outside world becomes blurry. I don't even have the need to eat.
