Jos Letschert Maria, this fantasy-scenery reminds me in a way to the work of the Flemish painter Paul Delvaux, who lived from 1897 till 1994. He was associated with surrealism. Maybe there are still closer connections to another Flemish surrealist painter, René Magritte (1898-1967). Both painters created fantasy provoking images like you do in a way. At the first sight there is a rather normal situation, like: someone is sitting at a table looking at a fish. The fish however is flying (and it is not a flying fish) into a painting-like open window with a surrealistic blue sky with clouds. Maybe it is the soul of the one in the bowl. Ordinary objects out of their context like the music at the wall, clarinettical collage. A really beautiful cover for the cd of Petra Stump. She can be proud of this design.
