The donkey is a symbol of not appreciating the efforts of others, ingratitude and bad treatment of people who provide us with services, people such as janitors, street vendors, construction workers, these great people are rarely appreciated. The portrait is of the donkey's face, there are a number of paintings that depicted the donkey with its entire body, the painting focused on the donkey's face and features from close up and for this logical reason it has a deep meaning.
