Part of my endless series "Rear Seat Diaries". Captured while driving on the highway at approximately 140 km/h from a VW Caddy, modified for a wheelchair at the rear. The view through the side window features a bridge.

Rear Seat Diaries" is an ongoing series documenting the transience of moments and the dynamics of the modern world from the perspective of a moving vehicle. The idea was born from my fascination with the often-overlooked beauty and complexity of moments during travel.

I sit in my electric wheelchair, secured at the back of my VW Caddy. The camera is positioned on a mini tripod, held in my left hand and supported on my wheelchair. Camera settings are adjusted before the journey begins, and shots are triggered remotely. I choose a black-and-white aesthetic to emphasize lines and structures.

Camera: Sony Alpha 6400 (APS-C)
Lens: 16mm wide-angle lens
Tripod: Mini tripod
Remote Control: For triggering the shots
Software: Adobe Lightroom and Fotor

Photography Technique: Long exposure with a shutter speed of 1/15 second to capture motion and blur.
Post-processing: Adjustment of contrasts, conversion to black and white, and fine-tuning of tonalities in Adobe Lightroom and Fotor.
