Image description
This work was being created for several months. First, I prepared the initial sketches and then based on them I created ink drawing on paper that I copied. The previously prepared linoleum was soaked in solvent. Photocopy stuck to the surface of the matrix gave an irregular reflection and thus created additional graphic effects. For cutting linocut I used the thinnest chisels and needles from a syringe that cut precisely and deeply. Thanks to this, I was able to achieve a satisfying detail.

Inspired by the poem "The Drunken Boat" by Arthur Rimbaud, Józef Gielniak's graphic art and two comic books created by Grzegorz Rosiński and Régis Loisel.

Where the giant snakes devoured by vermin
