This kind of rays is somewhat rare. You have to go at the right time of year and day, and there must be dust in the air. On this day, it was windy, and there was a lot of sand and dust. This reminds me that without the light God created, there would be no photography. | | Public projects | 5 [ List? ] | | Equipment | Pentax SLR, 55mm Pentax lens | | Technical | photography | | Created | January 1, 2006 at 12:00am | | Published | August 22, 2008 at 10:44am | | Art Limited seen | Yes | | Seen by members | 161 times | | Seen by visitors | 6452 times | | Favourite | 5 times [ Who? ] | | Social | |

Been there, Did you elbow people out the way?Oct 14, 2009 at 06:38am Pat Goltz Thank you. Actually, no, I didn't elbow anybody out of the way at all. There was room for the two of us who were taking pictures, and another group standing behind us. This was right inside the entrance. And I made sure nobody was walking across where I shot. :)Oct 14, 2009 at 10:06am Joyce Dickens Incredible work here Pat; a lovely tribute to the abundant beauty with which we are all blessed! Wish I could be there!Apr 9, 2011 at 11:54am Volker Birke Famous scenery... Very well captured. However, usually the Navajo guide (or even a visitor) toss up some sand for this show... ;) And, regarding my own photos taken, I somehow think the sunlight "reflections" on the ground are too bright maybe... But here I like them, balanced, OK.Aug 31, 2011 at 12:59am Follow the discussion |
