Giacometti Series: studies based on the extensive work of Italian Suisse artist Albert Giacometti, regarding the “other self” throughout the exercise of portraiture and human figure. Studies I – VI correspond to a first phase where the relationship between the urban men sculptures and his mother’s portraits have been emphasized in his insatiable search of the implicit being. Through it, we observe the complexity of linear composition establishing different levels of abstraction divorced from any figurative stereotype.
