Daniel, un ami amoureux de ma sœur est venu un soir chez moi dans ce qui me servait d'atelier. On a commencé à boire du whisky, ma sœur nous a rejoint, on a continué à boire beaucoup de whisky et on a décidé de faire cette peinture à trois. Ce soir là, Daniel était persuadé que j'avais des pupilles carrées et voulait m'en convaincre tandis que moi, je voulais lui démontrer que je pouvais faire des cigarettes roulées de forme carrée. Je me rappelle aussi que le lendemain on a retrouvé la lampe du plafond dans le jardin du voisin parce que je la suspectais d'être d'origine extraterrestre.

Daniel, a friend in love with my sister came home one evening in my studio. We started to drink whiskey, my sister joined us, we continued to drink plenty of whiskey and we decided to make this painting to three. That night, Daniel was convinced that I had and square pupils wanted to convince myself while I wanted to show him that I could make cigarettes rolled into squares. I also remember that the next day they found the ceiling light in the neighbor's garden because I thought it was of extraterrestrial origin.
