Ainsi l'amour du Ciel ravit en ces hauts lieux
Mon âme sans la mort, et le corps en ce monde
Va soupirant çà bas à liberté seconde
De soupirs poursuivant l'âme jusques aux Cieux.

Vous courtisez le Ciel, faibles et tristes yeux,
Quand votre âme n'est plus en cette terre ronde :
Dévale, corps lassé, dans la fosse profonde,
Vole en ton paradis, esprit victorieux.

Ô la faible espérance, inutile souci,
Aussi loin de raison que du Ciel jusqu'ici,
Sur les ailes de foi délivre tout le reste.

Céleste amour, qui as mon esprit emporté,
Je me vois dans le sein de la Divinité,
Il ne faut que mourir pour être tout céleste.
