Tilburg 01: Gate To The Past, Artwork by Karel De Beer. Once my hometown Tilburg (the Netherlands) had a major woollen industry. However, only a small number of modern factories survived the 1960-'70 years. Some memories also remained, such as the National Textile Museum and this iron gate of a demolished old factory. Meanwhile, Tilburg has successfuly reindustrialized. Yellow and blue happen to be the municipal colours, although we don't have this blue sky every day....!
