A portrait from my latest project "Stillness in Time" .. wet plate portraits of childhood. All these portraits have been a collaboration between me the photographer and the children who decide how they would like to be photographed. The wet plate process has a very slow exposure time .. this was 5 seconds, each child lays very still and seems to drift off into their world momentarily.
