Almost as if i can get in touch with a deep inner part of me, subjective and contradictory as it may sound.
Your photo/tittle seems to point into another direction, as shame is often regarded as a negative emotion.
But wich are the reasons for shame in here ?
Is it because the religion´s innability to increase spiritual and humanistic values in today's society ?
Will it be because religion itself has diverged from those same values along the time ?
A certainly complex and passionate subject, for wich i do not have the answers, just the tip of the iceberg questions.
As for myself, i prefer to put the shame on us, the Mankind, as we are to blame for heading to an increasingly egocentric society.Nov 20, 2008 at 05:52pm Ricardo Araújo Sorry, i forgot the appreciation.Nov 20, 2008 at 05:52pm Gianluca Di Vito Hi, Ricardo: thanks for your comment.
That's the words I wrote to present this photograph on another forum:
I dont know if He's there... but if he was, I'm sure he'd be terribly ashamed of his creation.
Take a look what we are: there's no difference from what we were and I fear there'll be no difference in the future as well.
No godly god could make such a mistake.
No infallible creature could go that wrong.
I guess it's up to us, and it was like that from the beginning:
we have to rise from the caves and gain integrity and dignity.
Respect is the word.
for ourselves, for our neighboors, for all human kind, and for this poor planet.
Shame on human kindNov 20, 2008 at 07:34pm Follow the discussion |
