I think a note about this is worth.
I spent more than 10 years an an exile from the realm of photography, avoiding any contact with other authors and magazines. The solely target was to find my own way, develop a language, a symbolism, a concept.
Symbolic elements like "the repetitions" are frequently found in my images as well as in Skoglund's images, but the concept itself doesn't belong neither to me not to Sandy. The same holds for the Thorgerson's surrealism mood and Liedmann's management of the colours. Some of those elements can be linked with my images, but I developed them myself with no relationship with the aforesaid authors (and more generally, with any other author). And guess what ? Despite her word-wide reputation, I heard about (and saw) Sandy's work only two years ago, in 2009.Apr 5, 2011 at 12:25pm Follow the discussion |
