Well, it's technically superb, you master light and compo (what a great idea to make the eye centered and visually correponding with the fingertips, all in a circle composition)
Yet something still is mysterious to me : Why this vapor like chest ?

The chest is the only part on which the light falls under an angle, both face and hand being in contre-jour. the way you master the excess of light/overexposure/"contrejour" is quite astounding. Wish i could do the same
About the cross process, why not.. it lightens the shades, gives a less abrupt "contrejour". Did you try other tones while playing with the curves (supposing that you used the curves to get the X-process)?
