Olivier Daaram Jollant Very nice work ! I like the composition, toning and first of all the atmosphere !Mar 28, 2009 at 19:28 Jared Christopher Martin I particularly like the relationship of the chairs which you have succeeded in making very human, one seems to be edging up the stairs perhaps ascending to an early sleep, while the other closely focuses on the book, which dominates the shot, fully expecting to be read. Like your previous image of babushkas you succeed in making toys and objects come alive, which qualifies you for at least two positions in life: being the master photographer that you are; and becoming an elf in Santa's workshop. Meant in all good fun and complete admiration and a not a little envy.Mar 28, 2009 at 20:04 Daniel Stasielak great composition, atmosphere!
great work!Mar 28, 2009 at 20:51 Bill Vander Sluys yes, great compo and mood. the light is perfect...Mar 28, 2009 at 21:15 Loredana Guinicelli the empty chairs and the abandoned book let me think about the end of an era... maybe the story of the 2 people who occuped the chairs....

Higth quality!!!Mar 30, 2009 at 21:23 Svend Videbaek Enjoying the growth of this series very much. Eloquent visual language all round. The chairs being at the foot of the stairs, and their being of different heights, is so telling. The lovely implication of the book, and I note with pleasure the cloth bookmark.Mar 31, 2009 at 21:24 Clifton yes a great series...such stories...and I love those coloursApr 3, 2009 at 21:33 Thierry Magniez A beautiful series with a universe particular and attaching.
